The Cadillac Series 355 from the automobile manufacturer Cadillac was produced from 1931 to 1935. The series was built with a sophisticated V8 engine and was sold in various models throughout the production period. The Cadillac Series 355 under the General Motors label was designed by Harley Earl and assembled in Detroit Assembly, Michigan, USA.
The 355 layout consisted of a front engine, rear wheel drive with a 355 cubic inch engine and a 3-speed synchromesh transmission.The 355A was the first model to break through with a total of 10,717 vehicles sold. The 355B was not as successful with a total of 2,700 vehicles sold. It was followed by the 355C, which was sold a total of 2,100 times by 1933. The 355D was more of a modification of its predecessor and its sales figures were not recorded as such, but the last of its models, the 355E series, achieved sales of 8,318 vehicles between 1934 and 1935.
