Rare Renault R17 TS Gordini in rally trim
– 1.6 L in-line four-cylinder petrol engine with 79 kW (107 hp) and 4-speed manual gearbox
A previous owner wrote the following vehicle history:
Assumed to have participated in the 1970 Tour De France Automobile, then displayed at the “Museum of Transportation” in Brookline for about 20 years. At the beginning of the 1990s, the vehicle was sold to a private collector in Waltham, MA, in the USA and was present in many exhibitions. In about 2006, the R17 was brought back to racing condition, brakes, suspension, interior and seats were serviced to make the Renault ready to drive.
– A COT, California, from 01/2010 proves the registration in the USA
– 2010 Reimport to France and registered there
– Participation in various rallies in Italy with the vehicle owner at the time
– 2015 registered by the last owner in Germany, including registration as a historic vehicle
– Gearbox rep 2016, wheel bearings, fuel pump, clutch, HBZ renewed, 4 spiked wheels
