In September 1981, the Ritmo Abarth 125 TC celebrates its world premiere at the Frankfurt IAA.
In 1982 FIAT introduced the Ritmo 125 TC Abarth. The version tuned by Abarth, which was moved by a double camshaft engine (Bialbero) had a very sporty body with special alloy wheels, side rally trim strip over the door sills, rear wing, chrome exhaust tail, Sports seats and sports steering wheel. Not to mention the emblems with the sign of Scorpio. It was equipped with a ZF five-speed sports transmission, disc brakes with increased braking power at the front and a series of modifications to the chassis, which were adopted from the group 2 racing touring car. The Ritmo 125TC Abarth was only available as a three-door model in the selected colours red, black and silver. Built on a separate Abarth production line, the high-performance Abarth 130TC replaces the 125TC in 1983.
