Ford Mustang

This 1967 Mustang presents itself as an unrestored daily driver with delightful patina. For the most part, the original paintwork has been preserved. The entire vehicle comes in an honest, non-tinkered original condition as it is not often found nowadays.

The original interior with its characteristic, zeitgeisty green leatherette seats does display the traces of wear and tear from a nearly 40-year-long car life all right, but it is free of any significant damage.

The underbody of our pony car is in very good shape. Also technically, the vehicle is in an encouraging good condition, not only for its age.

A Mustang, more than suitable for everyday use and powerful enough to cope with today’s traffic, or else – due to its very good substance – a rewarding project for the connoisseur, last but not least with regards to the expectable appreciation.

The original pony car – a legend takes its course

Who would have guessed how big the market gap really was, before Ford bridged it with this car? Customers camping outside the shops in order to grab one of the desired models … 680,000 units sold within two years … America was upside down, because Ford’s concept of “full performance at a fair price” had come to full fruition.

The Mustang was a trendsetter – so much so, the whole species of “Pony Cars” were named after it. Their typical features are the elongated hood, a relatively short tail, enough space for 4 people – but first and foremost, engines with more power than the running gear and braking system could handle … Even the first generation Mustangs came with up to 400 hp from just under 7 litres’ engine capacity.

The essence of “the American Way of Drive” , unadulterated and undiluted.

Mercedes-Benz 220 A Cabrio (W187)

Mercedes 220 A in new car condition
– Fully restored frame-off
– The professionally executed restoration is among other things documented by photos
– Whitewall tires
– One of only 1,278 Type A convertibles built
– Only about 300 drive-in kilometers completed since the restoration
– The supporting timber of the body renewed
– Classic Data report from 2019 available (1-)
– Tecnical service report until 05/2022
– Inspection carried out in 2020

An extremely rare and beautifully restored w187 convertible, as it is probably unique in this condition.

Immediately after WWII, Mercedes-Benz had only offered 4-cylinder engines in their passenger cars. This changed when at the Frankfurt Motor Show of 1951, the company presented two 6-cylinder models: One was the range-topping 300 (W 186), the other the 220 (W 187). The latter essentially used the chassis and body shell of the pre-war W 153, presented in 1938, just that the previously free-standing headlights were now integrated into the fenders in an attempt at making the car look more modern. In direct comparison to more progressively styled, ponton-bodied cars like the Borgward Hansa, the 220 still looked positively old-fashioned from the start. What was modern and received plenty of praise, however, was the inline 6-cylinder engine with overhead camshaft and oversquare dylinder dimensions. It provided a power output of 59 kW (80 hp), sufficient for a top speed of 140 km/h (or 145 km/h for the convertible). So it doesn’t come as a surprise that, while the W 187 had an unusually short production run, the basic layout of the M 180 engine lived on, with many modifications and power enhancements, until 1989. A total of 18,514 units of the W 187 were built, with the coupe – only available 1954 / 1955 – being by far the rarest model, of which only 85 pieces were manufactured.

Mercedes-Benz CL 500

– 2000 Mercedes-Benz CL 500 from the C 215 series
– the pinnacle of German car engineering at the turn of the milennium
– highly original car without visible dents or scratches
– 225 kW (306 hp) from 5.0 litres of displacement and 5-speed automatic gearbox
– CD changer, car alarm, hands free carphone, electrically foldable rear headrests
– massage seats, BOSE audio system, electric rear window shade
– multifunction steering wheel, xenon head headlights, glass sunroof, climate control
– front and rear parking sensors
– comfortable, sporty, and a whole lot of car for small money

Mercedes-Benz’s second generation of the CL class debuted in 1998. It was based on the current S class sedan from the W 220 series, which had been released one year previously. For the coupe, the wheelbase was shortened by 20 cm, and only the top end of the range engines were made available. The “base model” – a term totally out of place for this type of luxury coupe – already cost more than 200,000 DM and got a full 225 kW (306 hp) out of 5.0 litres of displacement. At the top end, power was doubled to a whopping 450 kW (612 hp) from a 6.0 litre twin-turbo V12 in the CL 65 AMG, which boasted no less than 1,000 Nm of torque. Needless to say, the interior used the finest materials and the car was equipped with state-of-the-art technology. such as Distronic cruise control, light and rain sensors, bi-xenon headlights or voice control for navigation and cellphone commands. Like the W 220 S class, the C 215 featured the new active body control suspension system, which automatically chooses the ideal damper setting in every driving situation.
Until 2006, when the C 216 was ready to relace it, 47,984 units of the luxurious coupe were built.

BMW M 635 CSi

This is a BMW M 635 CSi from the popular E24 series, which has returned from the sunshine state of California to Germany in 2014. Its unwarranted mileage amounts to 109,540 mls. It is an originally european delivery, identifiable by its bumpers and the german labelling of dashboard and centre console (trip computer, control lamps etc).
The colour combination of black/ brown gives the coupé a timeless, elegant and at the same time sporty appearance, an impression which is reinforced by the beautiful chrome parts and lets the hearts of its fans skip a beat. The 17 inch chrome rims shine and give the car that certain something.
The interior looks very well maintained and the seats with their noble shade of brown are in a really good condition for their age. The dashboard is similarly free of visible cracks.
The typically long list of features, such as air conditioning, trip computer, power windows and power steel sunroof further increase the “ultimate driving experience” (BMW slogan) with this power-packed 6 Series coupé.
It needs to be stated that the engine makes mechanical noises and needs to be overhauled together with undercarriage and steering.
The original owner’s handbook as well as various repair receipts are included.

A high-revving straight six engine, standard drive, and all packaged in an equally expressive as well as timeless coupe shape: Hardly surprising the BMW 6 Series (E24) met with enthusiastic buyers for over 13 years, longer than any other BMW.

Upon its presentation, the design anticipated the styling of the future 7 Series (E23). Inside, there is the driver-related cockpit – a 70s novelty at BMW – with the center console turned slightly towards the driver. Otherwise, the upper-class coupe boasts lush luxury, since the 6 Series was designed for a comfortable ride. And that is not at all contrary to a sporting performance, least of all with the more powerful engines of the 635 CSi. 5 years after market placement, BMW lined up a new top model, the M 635 CSi, also referred to as M6. It produced up to 210 kW (286 hp) of power and was capable of a top speed of up to 255 km/h.

The 6 Series has the reputation of easy maintenance, and its engines are said to be virtually indestructible. For this reason, our BMW is well placed for a second spring as a classic that is fit for everyday use.

Every Mercedes-Benz S-Class can lay claim to a number of superlatives, but if one beats all others in terms of popularity, it is the W126. No other S-Class has been sold in such large numbers or over such a long period of time. The timelessly elegant saloon was designed by Bruno Sacco and presented at the IAA in Frankfurt in 1979. Thanks to an improved drag coefficient and reduced weight, fuel consumption had fallen by around 10% compared to the previous model. The Coupé was added to the range in 1981. The engine range included 6- and 8-cylinder engines with a displacement of up to 5.6 liters and up to 220 kW (300 hp), 5- and 6-cylinder diesel engines were only available in sedans for the North American market. The W126 received a facelift in 1985 and remained popular with politicians and celebrities around the world for many more years. Production in Germany was discontinued in 1991, but continued in South Africa until 1994. A total of 818,063 saloons and 74,060 coupés were produced. The W126 was prized for its outstanding build quality and durability.

BMW M6

“Bavaria Express”, that’s what the fans called it, affectionately understating. And in the M version with 188 kW (255 hp), the 6 Series coupé was a real Porsche killer. The presentation in Geneva had already been 13 years in the past, when this snappy Bavarian left the factory and was delivered to its first destination, the United States. Under the hood, there was the M88 engine, a 3.5 litre straight six-cylinder also installed in the M1.

On the inside, this M6 wins you over with an elegant colour combination of beige leather, with dashboard and door trim parts contrasting in black. All of the interior gives a neat and very valuable impression. Board computer, air conditioning and electrically adjustable seats with memory function are on the features’ list. The BMW’s exterior, too, makes a very well maintained impression: Paint and chrome are good, the alloys free from kerb damage.
All in all, the M6 displays only slight, age-related traces of wear and tear. Technical approval is valid till 03/2017. A recent Classic Data brief appraisal over € 48,000.- (condition: 2+) is available.

A coupé for connoisseurs, for which the historic plates aren’t far off. A classic it is already.

Porsche 944 Coupé

– 1985 Porsche 944 coupe
– 3 owners from new (by first 2 owners used as demonstration vehicle)
– since 1987 with the same owner
– attractive colour combination, guards red exterior with beige leather interior
– 2.5 litre inline-four cylinder engine producing 120 kW (163 hp)
– delivered and always registered in Germany
– reportedly accident-free car
– targa roof, Blaupunkt Heilbronn radio
– German registration documents, new technical approval upon purchase

The Porsche 944 was presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 1981. It was based technically and optically on the 924 which had come out 5 years earlier. The Audi sourced engine of the 924, which had come under criticism by Porsche purists, was replaced by a genuinly Porsche 2.5 litre straight-4, which was effectively half of the 928’s 5.0 litre V8.
A turbo version was introduced in 1985, further power increases came with the 944 S in 1987 and the 944 S2 in 1989. The strongest engine available in a 944 was a 3.0 litre with 184 kW (250 hp) and a top speed of 260 km/h – impressive performance for a 4-cylinder car!
A convertible was only available in 1990 and 1991. Owing to its transaxle layout, handling of the 944 was superb, which is why it won the “Best Handling Production Car in America” award in 1984. In 1991, the 944 was replaced by the 968 which retained the characteristic styling cues of the 924/ 944.

– 1998 Jaguar XK8
– sportive-elegant convertible in extremely rare colour combination
– delivered in Belgium, from ownership of Jaguar club member
– violet-metallic exterior with beige leather interior
– 4.0 litre V8 engine offering 210 kW (286 hp)
– reportedly accident-free car
– original owner’s manual and various repair and service records available
– trip computer, power windows, electrically adjustable heated seats, climate control
– original radio, multi function steering wheel, front airbags
– original alloy wheels
– transmission defect

In 1996, the Jaguar XJS was finally discontinued after nearly two decades and replaced by the XK8, internally named X100, which was available in coupe and convertible shape. Design came from Geoff Lawson, who readopted some styling cues, such as the oval radiator grille, from the E-type. The interior looked classic owing to its large, flat walnut burl dashboard, compensating for the parts taken from Ford shelves. Instead of the inline-6 and V12 engines of its predecessors, the new grand tourer used a 4.0 litre V8 engine which had a power output of 216 kW (294 hp). In 1998, a supercharged variant was added, named XKR, offering 276 kW (375 hp). All cars came with 5-speed automatic transmission, as a manual gearbox was no longer on offer. A facelift in 2002 brought a power upgrade: The engine size grew to 4.2 litres of capacity and power was now rated at 219 kW (298 hp) in the XK8 and 291 kW (396 hp) in the XKR. A new 6-speed automatic transmission by ZF became standard. The X100 was a success for Jaguar, and sales figures total at 90,064 units over the course of 10 years. Interestingly, convertibles outnumber coupes two to one.

BMW 325 ix (E30)

  • By:

  • In

– BMW 325ix (E30), always registered in Germany
– salmon silver metallic (BMW colour code 203) with shadowline trim
– reportedly accident-free and matching numbers vehicle
– surprisingly well-kept interior, much better than the mileage would have you expect
– power sunroof, air conditioning and CD-radio
– detachable towbar
– runs on original BMW E30 alloys
– German registration documents and valid technical approval until 06/2019, eligible for historic plates
– a future classic suitable as daily driver and for winter rallyes

BMW’s 2nd generation of the 3 series, the E30, replaced its popular predecessor in 1982. With its straight lines, Claus Luthe – who had penned the timeless NSU Ro 80 – created a car that perfectly catered to the taste of its era. The handsome and well-built cars with their wonderfully smooth engines were originally available as 2- and 4-door sedans. In 1985, BMW added a convertible, and in 1987, a station wagon named “Touring” completed the lineup.
The 325 iX, available as of 1985, introduced four-wheel-drive to the 3 series. Diesel- and Turbo-Diesel models were offered as of 1985 (324 d) and 1987 (324 td). Motorsport enthusiasts’ dream was of course the M3 with up to 175 kW (238 hp) of power. In total, 2,339,520 units of the E30 series were built, nearly doubling the figures of the preceding E21.
35 years after its presentation, the E30 is already fast becoming a sought-after classic. It is getting exceedingly difficult to find a well-preserved, original specimen – simply because many have suffered dearly at the hands of a financially inflexible clientele of 3rd and 4th hand owners attraced by the racing qualities of the E30 3 series.
