A luxury car with an extravagant ruby red colouring

– Registered in the Netherlands and in 2021 imported to Germany (driven with no issues)
– Dutch registration documents, last technical control in 2019
– Right hand driver
– Air conditioning
– Power seats
– Bodypaint and interior are in good condition
– Odometer without function (mileage not guaranteed)
– Rear power windows do not close tightly (can be closed manually)
– Engine starts only with start booster spray

The Bentley Mulsanne is a performance luxury car which was produced by Bentley Motors Limited from 1980 until 1992, though derivative models like the Continental T and Azure continued in production into the 2000s. The name “Mulsanne” is derived from Bentley’s motorsport history, which included five victories at the 24 Hours of Le Mans between 1924 and 1930 — the ‘Mulsanne Straight’ being the stretch of the Le Mans racecourse where cars reach their highest speeds. The Mulsanne shared the traditional 6.75 L (6750 cc/411 in³) Rolls-Royce V8 with aluminium alloy cylinder heads. Two SU carburettors were replaced by Bosch fuel injection on all cars from 1986. All Mulsannes use a 3-speed automatic transmission.
Launched at the Geneva Motor Show in 1982 and produced until 1985 was the Mulsanne Turbo. There was a 50% increase in power thanks to the Garrett AiResearch turbocharger. There was the usual highly polished walnut veneered fascia, blemish-free leather and carpets and headlining of pure wool for the interior. 498 short wheelbase and 18 long wheelbase Mulsanne Turbos were built.
The Mulsanne Turbo was replaced by the Turbo R, which used a fuel injected version of the same engine. A British racing green Turbo has been used in the two James Bond novels Role of Honour and Nobody Lives for Ever by John Gardner.

Jaguar XJS 5.3 Series II Cabrio

1992 was described by Her Majesty, the Queen as an “Annus Horribilis” – a horrible year. Fergie and Andrew had split up, as had Diana and Charles. The image of the Royal family had been damaged by scandals – and her home, Windsor Castle, by a large fire.
Not all was bad in 1992 though. This stunning Jaguar XJS rolled off the assembly line in Coventry.
An impressive 12-cylinder convertible which comes in a beautiful colour combination of bordeaux paintwork with beige leather interior. It was delivered to the US and imported into Germany 23 years later, with only 61,700 unwarranted miles on the clock, and apparently mostly in its original paint apart from the bonnet. The Jag has abundant chrome, on the door sills, mirrors, wheel arches, rims, fuel cap and bumpers, all in good shape. The windscreen shows some stone chip damage and the convertible top has visible cracks on the outside. Otherwise the car is mostly free from noteworthy scratches. The leather interior is in good condition with some traces of use. The original cassette radio is on board, and so are cruise control, power steering, trip computer, power windows, electrically adjustable mirrors and heated seats. Owner’s manual, service booklet and repair receipts are available.
1990s’ elegance at its best.

One of the 1980/90s Top Trumps winners!

With “Cylinders: V12”, it beat them all, or almost. A winning type therefore – despite being eyed with rather a lot of suspicion at its presentation – hardly surprising, after all, being the heir to an undisputed cult object such as the Jaguar E-Type is certainly no easy game to play.

And yet it has managed, in its very own way. Precisely by being different: Massive, dignified, courageous, athletic only at second glance – a bit quirky even, a car for individualists. And they honored it, kept buying the distinctive upper-class coupé for over two decades. During this period, the modifications took place almost exclusively underneath the sheets: Never change a winning, er, cat. The real convertible variant only became available in 1988.

Even with the straight 6 engines, the big cat was far from underpowered, and owing to its innovative chassis, sports car connoisseurs can still feel like winners today.

The most iconic transporter of all time!

Few vehicles, let alone vans or minibuses have gained a bigger “cult status” than the VW T2, affectionately known as “The Bus”. The popularity of the rounded panel van is unbroken, if you want evidence, all you need is one ride on The Bus through any city, anywhere: Wherever you go, you will receive spontaneous expressions of sympathy.

In 1967, the T2 became heir to the T1, the original version of the VW van which had been built for 17 years. The curved, undivided windscreen was the most prominent distinguishing feature of the “new one”. Further changes were the extended body (with wheelbase unaltered), the ball joint front axle and more powerful engines that delivered 47, later up to 70 hp to the rear axle. In Germany, over 2.5 million T2 were produced until 1979, as panel van, station wagon, flatbed, double cab, van or camper. In Mexico and Brazil, the popular Van with its pleasing shape continued to roll off the line for decades longer, with production ending as late as 2013 – by which time the “local” T2 had long since matured to classic cars.

This Mexico beetle is a 1200 L version, 25 kW (34 hp), built in 1978 and originally registered in Germany on 06/10/1978. Unwarranted mileage: 87,605 kilometers. Historic plates, TUV 9/2016.

The vehicle has been professionally restored and is almost entirely rust free. Chrome, wheels and tyres are good. The engine was also revised and runs flawlessly, with many new parts. The paintwork in the original colour “Manila Green” (L63Y) is very good. The interior with black and white upholstery is good, only wear on the side cheek of the driver’s seat and the non-original headrest covers mitigate the impressive condition. The vehicle is very authentic, has 2 keys, the original operating instructions and a contemporary radio.

A very beautiful version of this classic that brings a smile to many people!

There is a Classic Data appraisal of € 6,500 (condition: 2-)

Price: £3,600.00 Auction Estimate

Mercedes-Benz 300 SL-24

– Mercedes-Benz 300 SL from R129 series, pre-facelift model from 1992
– German delivery, no US import
– with the last keeper since 2008
– mechanically and cosmetically well-maintained non-smoker car
– electrically adjustable, heated seats, cruise control, airbag, power windows
– original CD radio, Nokia carphone with hands-free equipment
– blue metallic paintwork, body coloured hard top, blue soft top and blue leather interior
– German registration documents
– at 25 years of age, a very well matured car on the verge of becoming a true classic

At the 1989 Geneva Motor Show, Mercedes-Benz presented the new SL from the R129 series. Its predecessor had been on the market for no less than 18 years, so the target group was more than ready for the new car and received it enthusiastically – so much so that early customers had to put up with a delivery period of several years. The aerodynamical wedge-shape design by Bruno Sacco won the international “Car Design Award”. Technologically, the new SL was very advanced, especially with regards to its safety features. They comprised a sensor-controlled automatic roll-over bar which would be raised within 0.3 seconds if needed, as well as integral seats.

The fabric top mechanism was no longer manually operated as it had been in the R107, but electrohydraulically, it opened and closed within 30 seconds. The aluminium hardtop weighed about 10 kg less than the one of its predecessor.

The R129 was available with a variety of engines, from 2.8 litres of capacity all the way up to 7.3 litres in the rare AMG V12 variants. A total of 204,940 examples were built over the course of 12 years, with two facelifts in 1995 and 1998, most of them equipped with V8 engines.

This gleaming white VW T2b Transporter is 40 years old!

It is equipped with the 1.8-liter four-cylinder boxer engine and produces 50 kW (68 hp.) Unwarranted milage is around 53,000 miles which should be authentic according to the previous owner. The vehicle had three American owners before returning to Germany in 2014. The last owner restored it extensively and consequently it presents itself virtually rust free and in very good overall condition.

Here is a short selection of work carried out: seats upholstered and recovered in blue and white leatherette, door trim and dashboard renewed, rubber seals replaced on all windows, new carpet, etc. Recently also the tyres were replaced.

Documentation includes among other things the original invoice. German registration (TÜV to 10/2016) and historic plates.

There is a current Classic Data appraisal of € 21,000.- (condition: 2).

Such cars are rare and this is a real eye-catcher!

With the Volkswagen T2a 1967 starts the second generation of the best-selling transporter. The new transporter has grown a bit, a one-piece windscreen, a sliding door and a much improved chassis with ball-joint front axle and semi-trailing arm rear axle.

The engine power increases up to 70 hp, flatter engines enlarge the loading space, for the first time an automatic transmission is available on demand.

Launched in 1972 the T2b differs from T2a by the upper front indicators and box-shaped bumpers. The higher, rectangular rear lights, larger air intakes and flared wheel arches at the rear were already part of the facelift in 1971.

Porsche 914 1.8

– Porsche 914 1.8 in amazing colour combination
– originally painted in green, now bearing “claret mica” paintwork
– bi-colour (beige / black) leather interior, renewed
– 1974 model with the rare 1.8 litre engine
– California car, recently re-imported, reportedly accident-free
– targa roof, bi-colour alloys, sports suspension
– 5-speed manual gearbox
– unwarranted mileage of 43,000 mls according to odometer
– original maintenance booklet and several repair receipts available
– being offered as restoration project, as it still needs a few things done

The Porsche 914 – or VW-Porsche 914, since it was a cooperation between the two companies – was launched in 1969 as an entry-level model for Porsche, replacing the 912. It was also considered a potential successor to the Karmann Ghia as an upmarket sports model from the Volkswagen point of view.
Technically, the very lightweight car – curb weight less than one ton – was very much up to date and offered extraordinarily good road handling owing to its mid-engine layout. It was available as a VW version with a 4-cylinder engine, called 914/4, or as 914/6, which accordingly had a 6-cylinder engine installed and was sold with a Porsche badge. The 914 has often been described as unsuccessful, but this is really only true for the German market. In the US, where all models were sold as Porsches, at least the 914/4 did remarkably well for a number of years. A production span of 7 years and a total output of 115,646 vehicles built is not a figure to be scoffed at for a 1970s sports car. The 914/6 suffered from its hefty price tag, it was only slightly cheaper than the base model of the 911 and was phased out as early as 1972 after only 3,332 examples.
The mid-engine layout was only resurrected by Porsche in 1996 for the Boxster.

This Mercedes Flagship of the late 60s comes with both sophisticated and elegant color combination of grey and red.

– from 1972, the last year of production
– delivered to Japan, re-imported to Germany in 2019
– 2.8 litre engine with 103 kW (140 hp)
– automatic transmission with steering column mounted gear selector
– leather interior
– auxiliary headlights
– already eligible for German registration as a historic vehicle

The S-Class of the late 60s

Even if the W108 model series was never officially called “S-class”, it was just that: The top model of the German premium manufacturer, predestined for the rich and famous in all countries. Presidents, business leaders, successful businessmen and nobles should buy it. Since these gentlemen preferred being chauffeured, a long-wheelbase version was offered during the entire construction period.
One could choose between the 6- and 8-cylinder engines, whereupon the biggest, a powerful 8-cylinder engine with 4.5 liter capacity, was produced only for the American market. Apart from that, the big Benz was – as always – also a technology and innovation leader, it had disc brakes on all wheels and a dual brake circuit. The design was chosen deliberately free of short-lived fads (like the tail fins of the previous model).

The essence of automotive beauty

No other than Enzo Ferrari called the E-Type the most beautiful car ever made, and even if beauty is always in the eye of the beholder, not too many people would have contradicted him since. The debut of the XK-E, called “E-Type”, in 1961 was nothing short of a sensation. Its unrivalled elegant styling was complemented by plenty of power, and all of that at a relatively moderate price.

Over the years, the successful model was modified in several ways: From spring of 1966 there was a 2 + 2-seater version with an extended wheelbase. In 1967, the headlight covers fell victim to American safety regulations. On the engine side, there were six-cylinder engines with 3.8 and later 4.2 litres, and as of 1971, twelve-cylinder motors to choose from. Production of the compact two-seaters ceased in 1971, the so-called Series III was only offered as a 2+2-seater.

A classic car of superlatives that became an icon of the motoring world.
The New York City Museum of Modern Art recognised the significance of the E-Type’s design in 1996 by adding a blue roadster to its permanent design collection, one of only six automobiles to receive the distinction

BMW 633 CSi

This BMW 633 CSi coupé is a US import with an unwarranted mileage of 122,700 mls which comes in the forever elegant colour scheme of white paintwork and bright leather interior. The high-torque straight-6 cylinder with the BMW-typical, beefy sound delivers 135 kW (184 hp) from 3.2 litres of displacement. In this case it is connected to the proven 3-speed automatic gearbox by ZF.
The car has been re-painted, albeit not up to the highest standards: Window seals and screws have been painted over. Small dents and minor blemishes can be found on what is said to be an accident-free vehicle.
The tri-colour door panels are well-kept, the leather seats display traces of wear and tear. Due to intense UV radiation, the dashboard has become cracked and the sky slightly discoloured. The boot looks dry and clean.
Like most 6 series, this one has a rich equipment, which includes air conditioning, cruise control, power windows front and rear and an electric steel sunroof.

This BMW needs a bit of attention, then the historic plates should not be a problem.

A high-revving straight six engine, standard drive, and all packaged in an equally expressive as well as timeless coupé shape: Hardly surprising the BMW 6 Series (E24) met with enthusiastic buyers for over 13 years, longer than any other BMW.

Upon its presentation, the design anticipated the styling of the future 7 Series (E23). Inside, there is the driver-related cockpit – a 70s novelty at BMW – with the center console turned slightly towards the driver. Otherwise, the upper-class coupé boasts lush luxury, since the 6 Series was designed for a comfortable ride. And that is not at all contrary to a sporting performance, least of all with the more powerful engines of the 635 CSi.

The 6 Series has the reputation of easy maintenance and its engines are said to be virtually indestructible. For this reason, this BMW is well placed for a second spring as a classic that is fit for everyday use.
