This Mercedes SL is equipped with the 4.5 litre V8 engine (M117) and 165 kW (225 hp). The vehicle was built in 1973 (thus the tiny European bumpers), it displays an unwarranted mileage of 139,433 km and has a German registration with historic plates!
This vehicle benefits from its extremely rare but original colour combination of aqua blue exterior paint (MB colour code 917) with red MB Tex interior and red carpets. The interior is in good condition, only the centre console is damaged by a failed expansion attempt front and rear.

Fitted is the SL with cruise control and power windows.
Due to its existence in Southern California, the vehicle is almost rust free, paint and chrome are good. Hardtop in body colour, soft top in dark blue, good condition.

A really nice car in good original condition.

There is a current Classic Data appraisal of € 31,000.- (condition: 2).

Price: £ 11,400 Minimum bid

It runs and runs and runs….. one of the last Beetles built in Osnabrück.
– 50 hp from a 1.6 liter four cylinder boxer engine
– Read mileage of only 76,800 KM (5-digit speedometer)
– Painting in diamond silver metallic (Code L97A)
– 4-speed manual transmission
– Gray soft top, Blaupunkt radio, fog lights, halogen headlights
– ATS sport rims
– Almost rust free and cavity sealed
– Classic Data appraisal 2021 (grade 2+)
– Detailed 84-pages appraisal 2018
– German registration + historic vehicle admission

When production of this convertible came to a close, its fans had tears in their eyes! Precious few other vehicles had found their way into the hearts of people the way the Beetle Convertible had – thanks to its timeless, cuddly shape and certainly also due to the fact that it had brought the convertible feeling to people far below the ranks of the “upper ten thousand” in the first place.
During the final years of the nearly 30-year production span, the open version of the VW Beetle became increasingly popular, and as the demand went up, so did the prices for well-kept used cars, which surpassed their retail prices almost right from the start. A car that had already become a classic during its construction period, after all it was produced with relatively marginal changes from 1949 to 1980.
All along, the convertible was always based on the most powerful and best-equipped version of the “creepy-crawly” of its time. A total of 330,281 open beetles were manufactured at Karmann in Osnabrück, right up to the final “Volkswagen 1303 Cabriolet” with an engine power of 37 kW (50 hp) as of 1972.

– 2000 Mercedes-Benz SL 500 from the R 129 series
– originally delivered to the US, vehicle used to run in California
– re-imported in 2017
– black exterior paint and beige leather interior
– 5.0 litre V8 engine producing 225 kW (306 hp)
– automatic gearbox
– reportedly accident-free car
– clean Carfax report
– AMG sports package with 18″ AMG alloy wheels

At the 1989 Geneva Motor Show, Mercedes-Benz presented the new SL from the R129 series. Its predecessor had been on the market for no less than 18 years, so the target group was more than ready for the new car and received it enthusiastically – so much so that early customers had to put up with a delivery period of several years. The aerodynamical wedge-shape design by Bruno Sacco won the international “Car Design Award”. Technologically, the new SL was very advanced, especially with regards to its safety features. They comprised a sensor-controlled automatic roll-over bar which would be raised within 0.3 seconds if needed, as well as integral seats.
The fabric top mechanism was no longer manually operated as it had been in the R107, but electrohydraulically, it opened and closed within 30 seconds. The aluminium hardtop weighed about 10 kg less than the one of its predecessor.
The R129 was available with a variety of engines, from 2.8 litres of capacity all the way up to 7.3 litres in the rare AMG V12 variants. A total of 204,940 examples were built over the course of 12 years, with two facelifts in 1995 and 1998, most of them equipped with V8 engines.

This remarkably beautiful, intense blue paint is called “sapphire blue”, it carries the VW colour code L50D and quite frankly, it makes you wonder why nowadays cars hardly ever sport pretty colours like they did in the 1970s. Here’s a Volkswagen Beetle convertible, built by Karmann in Osnabrück in 1970 for the German market where the vehicle is believed to have stayed all of its 46 years of existence. The VW is rust-free according to the consignor and features a beige convertible top in good condition with only slight discolouring on the inside. It even comes with a heated rear window. A contemporaneous radio is also installed. The beetle runs on steel rims with chrome hub caps. The carpet has been renewed, and a new set of window seals has been fitted.
The black leatherette interior has been well looked after and displays favourably with the right degree of patina. In the rear, there’s the 1.3 litre 4-cylinder boxer engine which produces 32 kW (44 hp) of power and sends drive to the rear wheels via the well-known four-speed manual gearbox.
The VW convertible has valid technical approval until 02/2018 and comes with heritage certificate, German registration documents and historic plates. A recent Classic Data appraisal states a replacement value of this car in condition 3+ at € 20,900.

Volkswagen Karmann Ghia

The Karmann Ghia – The dream car of the 50s

This Karmann Ghia was produced eight years after the start of production of the convertible (1957). Insofar some modifications are already included. Thus it has the larger headlights and “nostrils”, an armrest on the driver’s side, a windscreen washer system and a headlamp flasher.

The car was re-imported from the US and had been restored there a few years ago, unfortunately not very professionally and not in perfect quality (e. g. US-painting with inadequate preparatory work and partly varnished seals). Technically, the vehicle is in good condition and equipped with the 1.6-liter four-cylinder boxer engine. Brakes and clutch function properly. The underbody is rust free and the bumpers are new. The chrome is complete. The on-board voltage was converted from 6V to 12V. Convertible top and interior present themselves pretty neat.

This is a accident/ restoration car that needs repair before registration/ roadworthiness.

The preparatory work for the Type 14 at Karmann in Osnabrück began in early spring of 1953. The Italian design studio Ghia was charged with the draft of a coupé based on the Beetle.

The prototype – presented at the end of 1953 – wowed the client and was also favourably accepted in Wolfsburg: The serial development of a 2 + 2-seater coupé was decided and the production of the Karmann Ghia was launched in August 1955. On the 38th IAA the Karmann Ghia Cabriolet was presented. The vehicle was produced in Osnabruck from 1st November 1957 and priced at DM 8,250.

Karmann united with this vehicle the solid engineering of the Beetle with the elegant body of Italian design. To reduce the tilty and the oversteer tendency, the Karmann Ghia was fitted from the start with a front roll stabiliser. An enlargement of the front seat area has been achieved by the wider body compared to the Beetle. The running boards were omitted.

A total of 50,000 units were built, many of them went to the United States.

Mercedes-Benz SL 320 40th anniversary edition

In 1997, Mercedes-Benz commemorated the 40th anniversary of the first 300 SL roadster by offering two limited-edition models: Of the SL 500, exactly 500 models were built, painted in Designo Red. Much rarer still was the SL 320, with only 250 units built in Designo Blue. These cars were distinguished not only by their special paint, but also by an interior trim which was not available on other SL models. A particularly soft, “Exquisite” leather was used, for the SL 320 this was kept in an elegant grey, which contrasted nicely to the royal maple interior trim – a truly unique wood with a marble-like appearance. In addition, twelve-spoke alloys, as well as CD changer and heated seats were fitted. The steering wheel on these special cars was leather/wood trimmed, the soft top was dark blue, and 40th anniversary floormats rounded off the package.
This particular car has an exceptionally low mileage of only 23,000 mls according to the odometer. The Mercedes is reportedly accident-free and in a condition as befits a true collector’s item. It features the 3.2 litre 6-cylinder engine which produces 170 kW (231 hp) of power, has an electronically governed top speed of 250 km/h, and comes with a 5-speed automatic transmission.
This is your chance to buy a fantastic Mercedes roadster from a rare and coveted edition, in remarkable condition and a very low mileage.

Citroën 2 CV 6

One of France’s most iconic cars: “The “umbrella on wheels” is worshiped by enthusiasts “not only a car, but a way of life” and described as “the most intelligent application of minimalism ever to succeed as a car”

– This charming 2 CV is completely restored, has new tires and was repainted in the original colour “vert jade” (jade green)
– absolutely no rust
– Originally delivered to Spain to the German owner
– only one owner from new and reportedly accident-free
– original 602 cc engine with 21 kW (28 hp) and the unmistakeable 2 CV sound
– it comes of course with a roll-back canvas top
– Spanish registration documents

In the James Bond “For your eyes only” movie, Roger Moor as 007 escaped from his persecutors in a yellow “CV 6 – one of the most epically funny chases!

The French revolution and an automotive icon: “La toute petite voiture” (really little car)

The 2CV was the mid-1930s brainchild of Pierre-Jules Boulanger, the head of Citroën
Long before the Volkswagen was heard of, M. Boulanger decided that there was a market for a cheap, easily maintained, basic car to replace the horse and cart on French rural roads, and even on the fields. His specification was for an “umbrella on wheels”, a car that could carry 50 kilogrammes and four people at up to 60kph and cross a ploughed field carrying a basket of eggs. Since the seats were removable to allow animals to be carried, that has sometimes been elaborated to “a car capable of driving across a ploughed field with a sheep in the back and a pile of eggs on the front seat, without breaking the eggs”.
Simple, almost primitive and yet full of innovation, the unusual vehicle made friends right from the start. Designed before world war II, mass production began only in 1949 and then continued with relatively minor modifications for over 4 decades.
The proverbial reliability of the small Citroen is based on the principle that what’s not there can’t break:
However, the vast majority of the 2 CV felt prey to rust , so that well-maintained vehicles have today become rare, sought-after classics.

BMW M 635 CSi

This is a BMW M 635 CSi from the popular E24 series, which has returned from the sunshine state of California to Germany in 2014. Its unwarranted mileage amounts to 109,540 mls. It is an originally european delivery, identifiable by its bumpers and the german labelling of dashboard and centre console (trip computer, control lamps etc).
The colour combination of black/ brown gives the coupé a timeless, elegant and at the same time sporty appearance, an impression which is reinforced by the beautiful chrome parts and lets the hearts of its fans skip a beat. The 17 inch chrome rims shine and give the car that certain something.
The interior looks very well maintained and the seats with their noble shade of brown are in a really good condition for their age. The dashboard is similarly free of visible cracks.
The typically long list of features, such as air conditioning, trip computer, power windows and power steel sunroof further increase the “ultimate driving experience” (BMW slogan) with this power-packed 6 Series coupé.
It needs to be stated that the engine makes mechanical noises and needs to be overhauled together with undercarriage and steering.
The original owner’s handbook as well as various repair receipts are included.

A high-revving straight six engine, standard drive, and all packaged in an equally expressive as well as timeless coupe shape: Hardly surprising the BMW 6 Series (E24) met with enthusiastic buyers for over 13 years, longer than any other BMW.

Upon its presentation, the design anticipated the styling of the future 7 Series (E23). Inside, there is the driver-related cockpit – a 70s novelty at BMW – with the center console turned slightly towards the driver. Otherwise, the upper-class coupe boasts lush luxury, since the 6 Series was designed for a comfortable ride. And that is not at all contrary to a sporting performance, least of all with the more powerful engines of the 635 CSi. 5 years after market placement, BMW lined up a new top model, the M 635 CSi, also referred to as M6. It produced up to 210 kW (286 hp) of power and was capable of a top speed of up to 255 km/h.

The 6 Series has the reputation of easy maintenance, and its engines are said to be virtually indestructible. For this reason, our BMW is well placed for a second spring as a classic that is fit for everyday use.

– 2005 Bentley Contintental GT
– 6.0 litre W12 engine with 412 kW (560 hp), 6-speed automatic gearbox, all-wheel drive
– classic colour combination of black exterior with beige full-leather interior
– vehicle delivered in Germany, used to run in southern France
– reportedly accident-free car
– exhaustive features list, most of which was standard in this superbly equipped model
– air suspension, satnav, sound system, muli function steering wheel
– various service records available, last serviced at 141,500 km
– 19″ Bentley alloys
– French registration documents, valid technical approval until 02/2021

Only the best of all worlds

A twelve-cylinder by VW, four-wheel drive technology by Audi, hand-crafted into a luxury class sports coupé at the traditional main factory in Crewe – this is the Continental GT, the first model of the Bentley brand which was created under the auspices of the Volkswagen Group. At times, the demand was so high that the production ran at full capacity, and the well-heeled buyers had no choice but to wait.
When the wait was over, they were able to enjoy a very agile and, notwithstanding the hefty weight of over 2.3 tonnes, sporty luxury coupé which left nothing to be desired, owing to the rich standard equipment and 412 kW (560 hp) of power for the open road.
From the Series II, after a careful facelift in 2011, the Continental GT was available with a V8 engine option. Another restyling was due in 2018, and of course engine power was upped once more: The current engine produces 467 kW (635 hp) and boasts no less than 900 Nm of torque.

This BMW 633 CSi coupé is a US import with an unwarranted mileage of 122,700 mls which comes in the forever elegant colour scheme of white paintwork and bright leather interior. The high-torque straight-6 cylinder with the BMW-typical, beefy sound delivers 135 kW (184 hp) from 3.2 litres of displacement. In this case it is connected to the proven 3-speed automatic gearbox by ZF.
The car has been re-painted, albeit not up to the highest standards: Window seals and screws have been painted over. Small dents and minor blemishes can be found on what is said to be an accident-free vehicle.
The tri-colour door panels are well-kept, the leather seats display traces of wear and tear. Due to intense UV radiation, the dashboard has become cracked and the sky slightly discoloured. The boot looks dry and clean.
Like most 6 series, this one has a rich equipment, which includes air conditioning, cruise control, power windows front and rear and an electric steel sunroof.

This BMW needs a bit of attention, then the historic plates should not be a problem.
