A pretty solid American pickup in a cool vintage look

The American car manufacturer Chevrolet offered a series of small trucks, pick-up, in the years from 1960 to 1998. In 1973, Chevrolet introduced the 3rd generation of the C/K series. Traditionally, the model designation “C” stood for rear-wheel drive, while the all-wheel drive models were designated “K”. Gasoline engines ranged in displacement from 4.1 to 7.4 liters, with output from 77 to 180 kW. Two diesel engines displaced 5.7 liters and 6.2 liters, respectively, and produced 92 kW or 111 kW.The C10 was available in two body styles, Fleetside and Stepside. The Fleetside variant has a streamlined outer profile of the cargo area with interior wheel arches. The cargo area is made of steel or wood. The Stepside models with exterior exposed wheel wells and initially only a wood floor. There was a choice of four equipment packages for the C10. As early as the launch of the Gen.3 series, the pickups brought with them two advanced safety features that were firsts in terms of full-size pickups. One was the standard passenger outside mirror, as well as the folding safety steering column patented by GM.
